As part of hydrogeological study made by the water authority to devolope water resources in the Gilboa area, 2 boreholes were drilled. one was vertical and the other was drilled diagonally in order to receive  geotechnical and hydrological characterizetion of the rock mass. Permeability and lugun tests has been performed at different depths, water sampels were taken for chemical analysis, pumping tests and rock mass classification.
