Geotope-Levin participated in five design segments along Highway 1 from the Shaar Hagai area to the entrance to the City of Jerusalem near Ginot Sakharov. The geological consultation included geotechnical mapping, managing the geotechnical investigation, characterization of excavated materials and the guidelines for excavated slopes including involvement in the planning of support solutions using mesh and fencing to protect against rockfall.  The work included also submission of geological survey in Segment 4 for the Harel Tunnels and geological documentation later on during the excavation and onstruction stages.
