Highway 6 South consists of four design segments from the Maahaz Interchange north of Beit Kama to the Nevatim Interchange.  This highway is part of the central transportation artery that connects peripheral regions in northern and southern Israel. Geotope-Levin participated in three different design teams, providing geological consultation on Segment 21B from the Lahavim area to the Shoket Junction. The work included inter alia engineering characterization of excavated materials with emphasis on the properties of the Loess soil in order to include it as a fill material in embankment cores as well as the provision of guidelines for cut gradients in the rock slopes.
