Geotope-Levin performed research for the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources and the Commissioner of Mines to investigate processes and equipment that could be incorporated into the quarry work in order to increase production efficiency in light of an expected shortage of raw materials used by the concrete, asphalt and road infrastructure industries. During this work, we investigated geological conditions as well as quarrying, crushing and sorting processes at three different quarries and surveyed research works and processes being advanced globally in the production of quarry products that meet the requirements of standards.
